Howdy! I am an Associate Professor of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy & Management in the School of Public Health at Texas A&M  University. I also recently graduated from the Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Program, a national leadership development program supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to equip teams of researchers and community partners in applying research to solve real community problems. I was also part of the inaugural cohort of the American Enterprise Institute's Emerging Poverty Scholars program.
